Court record
Court record in the hand of Hillel b. ʿEli. Moshe b. Elḥanan releases his wife Mudallala from the obligation to leave a house of his mother (in which he put her while going abroad) in the case that he does not return. This release is not valid if he should return. Also mentions the name Abū Zikrī in the first line. Witnesses: Avraham b. Yeshuʿa; Avraham b. Shemaʿya; the ḥaver Yeḥezqel b. ʿEli ha-Kohen (whose signature includes the superscript "12" likely indicating that the document was written on the 12th of the month, based on comparison with T-S NS J322); Shelomo b. Yosef b. Shelomo ha-Kohen. Pinḥas b. Yahaboy ha-Levi. At the bottom there are some jotted accounts in Judaeo-Arabic including for the price of yarn owed by 'my paternal aunt' and other mainly female relatives.
