Owner: at the end of the manuscript there is a deed of sale, written in Italian script. The seller is “Samuel b. R. Moses Benito”; the purchaser is “Nathan”. The witnesses are “Solomon b. R. Moses, of blessed memory” and “Judah b. R. Benjamin, may he live many days” [from Pesaro?].

Dated: “Thursday, 19 September 1587, 18 days of the month of Tishri, in the year 5187 from the creation of the world”, in a place called ...

The entire deed is published in the Bernheimer catalogue, at the place cited; Benhaim [sic], from the time when the manuscript was sold in Padua.
