Colophon: Thus far the end of the labor has been completed. From now on, O God, You who are true salvation, You who have granted Your servant the will and a good heart to toil and labor at this small undertaking, and have given me ease to complete it for Your honor and for the general benefit—especially for Your poor and needy, who await Your salvation—fulfill their request and desire, for the sake of Your mercies, and for me, Your servant.
And You, please save this book from [?] all the [?], from the deceitful, and from every falsification, and make straight [the way of] all those who seek assistance in this book. Save them and enlighten them in the understanding of the matters [contained herein] and of what they seek, [so that there may be] no defect [in them], those who think upon the King forever and ever.
And this book was completed by the hand of Jehiel, may his Creator preserve him and sustain him, son of our teacher Rabbi Solomon, may his memory be for the World to Come, son of our teacher Rabbi Joab, may his soul be bound up in the bond of life, in the city of Tivoli, on the fifteenth day of the month of Ṭevet, in the year 5092 from the creation of the world [1331/32 CE]. May He, for the sake of His great mercies and His abundant kindnesses, fulfill the desires of our hearts for good. Amen and amen, Selah. (199b)
Two other scribes copied folios 74a–155b (beginning the writing on a quire started by Jehiel). The name Moses is highlighted on folio 110b. See ZE354, a separate record for Moses’s copy.
On folio 155b, a note in a different hand: “In Tivoli, which lies on the river Tiber.”
