Colophon: (The Gates of the Tree of Life have been completed. Praise and glory to the Living God, and blessed be the Lord, for He has heard the voice of my supplications.)
And thus was completed the sacred work which I, Solomon Jedidiah, son of the honourable Rabbi Abraham, may his Rock and Redeemer protect him, of Camerino, undertook in this maḥzor containing the prayers for the entire year, on Tuesday, the eighth day of the month of Kislev, in the year 205 according to the minor era [1444 CE].
I copied it here in the city of Lucca for the noble and honourable Rabbi Isaac, may his Rock and Redeemer protect him, son of the honourable Rabbi Shabbetai, may his Rock and Redeemer preserve him, a resident of this land.
May the Lord, who granted me the privilege of writing it, grant him, his offspring, and his offspring's offspring, until the end of all generations, the merit of studying it and the other sacred books. And may He fulfil for us and for him the verse of Scripture:
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate upon it day and night, so that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success" (Joshua 1:8).
And may my portion, as the scribe, be treasured together with that of those who lead the many to righteousness, who shall shine like the stars for ever and ever [cf. Daniel 12:3].
And may He grant us the privilege of witnessing the rebuilding of Ariel [Jerusalem], together with Judah and Israel, and the coming of the Redeemer.
Amen, Amen. May God thus act and fulfil these words. And may the will of the Lord prosper through our hands. Amen.
(Fol. 410a)
