Colophon: “And the work of the sacred task that I, Yehudah Ammi (?), may he live long, son of the honoured Rabbi Shelomoh, may he live and prosper, son of Rabbi Binyamin, of blessed memory, have carried out in this book, namely the Four Fast Days, supplicatory prayers (selichot), confessions, and other compositions, was completed in the month of Tishri, in the year ‘The Lord has cleansed me of my iniquity’ [chronogram], of the sixth millennium since Creation.
And I wrote it for the esteemed, honoured and learned Rabbi Leon Gabriel, may he live long, son of the honoured Rabbi Uziel Azriel, of blessed memory.
And I received my full payment from him.
May He who granted me the merit of completing it grant him the merit of studying it and the other sacred books, together with his descendants and his descendants’ descendants, until the end of all generations. Amen and amen.
And may He fulfil for us the scriptural verse which says: ‘This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night’, etc.” (f. 348v)
