Deed of sale
The ms features a deed of sale (f. 144). The first three lines are only partially visible on the left. Here I am copying the more legible part of the deed, starting from the end of the line three:
הוא וזרעו וזרע זאעו עד סוף כל [הדורות] [...] מקרא דכתי ואני זאת בריתי אותם אתר י רוח אשר עליך ודבר יי אשר שמתי בפיך לא ימושו מפיך מפי זרעך ומפי זרע זרעך אמר י' מעתה ועד עולם
I have applied UV light in order to try and reconstruct the erased (first) part of the deed of sale. Unfortunately, it was impossible to read with the source of the UV light that we had at our diposal. However, I was able to confirm the nature of the erasure. Most likely, the lines were erased not with the liquid but with a sharp implement so that the upper layers of the parchment containing the ink were completely removed.
Despite the fact the major part of the ms is written in Sephardi/Provencial script, there are three lines of text on the first folio that are written in Italian. The ff. 1-48 are badly damaged with an upper part of the page missing so it is not possible to conclusively determine the nature of the note. The surviving parts of the note read:
[...] עד שיזכה לידבק [בש...] [...] [...חם] יזיא וייצר ה' שמויים את האדם עפר מן האדמ[...] לנפש חיה
