The colophon mentions the name of Judah b. Solomon Ibn Avi Shabbetai ha-Levi (יהודה בן שלמה ן' אבי שבתי הלוי) who is claimed to be the scribe of the MS, however the handwriting of the colophon and the handwriting of the main text are vastly different. Richler and Beit-Arié Catalogue suggests that "this MS may have been copied by another member of Judah's family or entourage." The entry goes on to note that "MS 2474 was completed on 26 Kislev 5254, only ten days after the completion of
this MS. Censors." Thus, I think it is highly unlikely that Judah b. Solomon was indeed the scribe.
