Main text scribe
There are several handwritings in this manuscript – all contemporary. The codicological unit was copied under the guidance of a professional scribe. This is most trained hand in the manuscript – it copies all parchment folios, as well as the second half of the manuscript. The specimens were identified differently than the analysis presented in the BnF record (mainly based on Tetragrammaton). They can be identified in the Specimen - Scribe role unique id as follows:
S1 (the master scribe): fols 1r – 16v, 23v – 24v, 30r – 31v, 38r – 39v, 46r-47v, 53r-54v, 59r – 60v, 67r – 68v, 74r - 75v, 82r – 83v, 90r – 91v, 98r – 99v, 114r – 115v
S2: 17r – 18r/b, 18v – 22v
S3: 18r/b, 25r – 29v, 32r – 36v, 40r – 45v, 48v/a – 49r/a
S4: 23r ? (or S1)
S5: 48r – 48v/a, 49r/a – 49v/a
S6: 49v/b – 52v, 55r – 58v, 61r – 66v, 69r - 73v, 76r – 81v, 84r – 86v/a, 87r/b – 89v/a, 92r – 95v/a, 97r/a, 100r, 108r -113v (double check, might be S9 though)
S7: (the substitute for the Tetragrammaton allograph is different than on fol. 87r/b consistently – main difference between S6 and S7) 86v/b – 87r/a, 89r/b, 95v/b, 97r/a, 97v
S8 (distinctive Tetragrammaton – two Yods wavy addition and an arrow like sign above the two Yods): fols 96r/a, 96v/b – 97r/a and b. bottom, 100v/b – 105v
