• Much larger script than previous hands three hands in the ms
• Similar in general appearance to S3, but distinct in execution
• Line of writing:
o Does not follow the ruled line
o Writes in the middle of the ruled space, creating uneven layout
• Ruling:
o Hard-point ruling clearly visible
o More pronounced than in earlier sections
• Downstrokes:
o Less controlled, contributing to unevenness
• General impression:
o Less disciplined layout
o Irregular alignment of text
• Begins: fol. 187r
• Continues:
o Fol. 187r → fol. 294r (end of manuscript)
