Declaration by the heads of the Jewish Community of Kraków concerning the restrictions of the retail trade of Jewish merchants datable to 1485, preserved in the National Archives of Kraków together with the document’s Latin and German translation made in 1492 and a certificate by the town authorities. The document is It is signed by four individuals, Moses son of Efraim, Jacob son of Alexander ha-Levi, Joshua son of Efraim and Mordechai son of Jacob, who represent the "holy community" of Kraków. They agree to stop the retail trade of Jewish merchants with Christian in the city, except for selling unredeemed pawns on market days and headgears and necklaces by poor Jewish women at any time.
