Scribe
Scribe not identified
Main text scribe
Ktiv record identifies the scribe as "Yehuda ben Yaakov, who worked in Ashkenaz and copied mainly philosophical works, between the years 1440-1460." Among other mss are mentioned Opp. 143 and LJS 453. At the same time, I (EZ) was not able to find a direct mention of this scribe in this manuscript. Hence, I used the "scribe not identified" until the similarities between the handwriting in this manuscript and others are established.
The manuscript as a whole features 2 hands, this specimen belongs to the first one. The photo of the second one is currently not available.
